Principal dentist

Our principal dentist. Ahmed has over 15 years of experience working in the UK across primary and secondary care sittings. After completing his undergraduate training in Egypt, Ahmed joined Dundee Dental School where he completed his master’s degree in dental science. He then developed his postgraduate training by obtaining his membership exams with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Ahmed completed a postgraduate training in dental implantology at Cambridge Academy of Dental Implantology.
Ahmed special interest is Oral Surgery and surgical dentistry. He has extensive experience working in Maxillofacial surgery in Scotland, England and Wales.
Ahmed has an interest in teaching and medical education. He holds a postgraduate degree in clinical education from The University of Aberdeen. He works at Aberdeen Dental Institute as Clinical Teaching Fellow responsible for clinical teaching of final year undergraduate dental students. He also works as an internal examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England examining graduate dentists for their membership exams.
Outside work, Ahmed enjoys playing football and going on holidays with his wife and 2 kids.
